Job Description

Overall Purpose of the role

Define, implement, and continuously evolve our technical cybersecurity strategy to protect the company’s information systems, infrastructure, and data. Ensure effective prevention, detection, and response to cyber threats, lead security initiatives, support teams in adopting Security by Design principles, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards. Strengthen the company’s long-term resilience through continuous improvement of its cybersecurity posture.

Your future assignments

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve cybersecurity controls to protect the company’s information systems, infrastructure, and data
  • Design and evolve the architecture of security solutions, ensuring effective governance, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain hardening standards for infrastructure, systems, and workstations
  • Lead vulnerability management activities, remediation plans, and security metrics tracking
  • Detect, analyze, and coordinate incident response activities, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented with the relevant teams
  • Ensure governance of Identity and Access Management (IAM), privileged access, and authentication mechanisms
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Support IT and business teams in integrating cybersecurity requirements into projects and promote Security by Design principles
  • Define cybersecurity requirements applicable to new projects, solutions, and technology providers
  • Monitor technological and regulatory developments to identify improvement opportunities and continuously strengthen the company’s security posture

Experience required

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

 

Experience / Technical Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, vulnerability management, hardening, incident response, IAM, Zero Trust, etc.
  • Expertise in Microsoft environments (Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, Windows Server)
  • Proficiency working with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions, SIEM platforms, firewalls, VPNs, network security, and cloud security
  • Good understanding of hybrid infrastructures and enterprise network architectures
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, etc.)
  • Cybersecurity certifications are considered an asset
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to explain and simplify complex technical concepts

  • Curiosity, commitment to continuous learning, and interest in technology trends
  • Calm, pragmatic, and effective approach when handling incidents and complex situations
