Warehouse and Shipping team's activities
Once the spare parts order is confirmed by After Sales, Warehouse takes care of the assembly of the order and its packaging. This is usually done within 24 hours after the order confirmation.
Once the package is ready, Warehouse informs Shipping, letting them know the weight and dimensions of the package.
Shipping starts organizing the shipment, taking into consideration the following:
- delivery method: Economy or Express
- order is sent under warranty or not
- details of the packaging, distance, incoterm
Once Shipping finds the best option for the shipment, they confirm it and inform both After Sales and the distributor that the shipment is reserved.
