Job Description

Overall Purpose of the role
Part of the Product Industrialization team, the Mechanical Industrialization Engineer contributes to the improvement of current products and the Product Lifecycle Management. He/she will be responsible for designing specific tools and assembly fixtures to support our production lines. 

Your future assignments

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to product development to support industrialization and continuous improvement
  • Design new tools and ensure existing tools, fixtures, and associated 3D models remain accurate and aligned with production reality
  • Conduct rigorous performance, robustness and functional testing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for tools and fixtures, ensuring a complete handover to the Operations team
  • Investigate technical issues, provide cross-functional support to other departments and actively contribute to continuous improvement projects

Experience required

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrialization Engineering

Experience / Technical Skills
  • 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or industrialization 
  • Proven experience in engineering and mechanical design
  • Practical, hands-on engineer with a strong focus on delivering pragmatic and effective solutions
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and industrialization readiness
  • Proficiency with 3D design using SolidWorks

Soft Skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication capacities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proactive mindset and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence design decisions through technical judgment and effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Fluency in English; French is a strong asset
