Job Description
Your future assignments
- Contribute to product development to support industrialization and continuous improvement
- Design new tools and ensure existing tools, fixtures, and associated 3D models remain accurate and aligned with production reality
- Conduct rigorous performance, robustness and functional testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for tools and fixtures, ensuring a complete handover to the Operations team
- Investigate technical issues, provide cross-functional support to other departments and actively contribute to continuous improvement projects
Experience required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrialization Engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or industrialization
- Proven experience in engineering and mechanical design
- Practical, hands-on engineer with a strong focus on delivering pragmatic and effective solutions
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and industrialization readiness
- Proficiency with 3D design using SolidWorks
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication capacities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proactive mindset and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence design decisions through technical judgment and effective cross-functional collaboration
- Fluency in English; French is a strong asset
