Your future assignments
- Partner Management: Act as the primary liaison and day-to-day contact for our contract manufacturer in Lyons, KS, addressing operational, quality, and logistical queries promptly
- Production Planning: Manage and oversee the master production schedule with the production partner. Coordinate forecasts, capacity planning, and material readiness to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods from the Kansas facility
- Logistics Coordination: Resolve any supply chain bottlenecks, shipping delays, or customs issues to ensure a smooth flow of materials
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate, monitor, and present key performance indicator (KPI) reports. Track metrics such as on-time delivery, production yield, and inventory health, leading regular business reviews with the manufacturing partner
- ERP Data Integrity: Take full ownership of production data within the Odoo ERP system. Ensure that inventory counts, and production receipts are rigorously maintained, accurately recorded, and updated in real-time
- Continuous Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and work collaboratively with internal engineering/quality teams and our external partner to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and lower costs
Experience required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain or external production management
- Technical Skills: Hands-on, working knowledge of ERP is required. Strong understanding of production planning, and inventory management
- Travel: Willingness to travel periodically within the US and abroad (Switzerland)
